REGULATORY

Investing For Tomorrow is licensed by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (the FSCA) to provide financial advice.

The FAIS Act (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act) that governs the conduct of financial advisors necessitates that all financial advisors be licensed. The licensing requirements are onerous.

The FAIS Act also necessitates that all advice be in writing. In many ways this is a very positive development, as it requires that financial advisors first articulate their thoughts before rendering advice.

Investing For Tomorrow’s FAIS license number with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority is 20012.

Advocate Tony Davey of the Harding Corporation is an advocate of the High Court and serves as Investing For Tomorrow’s Compliance Officer. Tony Davey is a recognised authority on both local and offshore tax and trusts.

Advocate Tony Davey’s role is to ensure that every aspect of our conduct is consistent with the letter and spirit of the FAIS Act and all other applicable legislation.
